Careful moving for antiques, art, and heirlooms
Antiques and art don't get a second chance. Old joints can be loose, veneers and finishes mark easily, and glass or mirrors can crack from a single knock. We start by walking through the pieces with you, noting anything that is fragile, loose, or already repaired, and deciding what should come apart and what should travel whole.
Furniture is blanket-wrapped in thick moving pads, with stretch wrap over the pads so it never touches the finish. Framed art and mirrors are wrapped and boxed. Legs, corners, and carvings get extra padding. Each piece is carried, not dragged, and secured in the truck so it can't shift. For pieces that need more than padding, ask us about custom crating.

Before we move your antiques and art
Take photos of valuable pieces before the move and note any existing damage. Remove glass shelves and loose parts from curio and china cabinets, and pack small collectibles separately or let our packing crew do it. Tell us which pieces matter most so we can plan the time and the materials.
Florida heat, rain, and old finishes
Central Florida heat, humidity, and afternoon storms are hard on wood and paint. We keep pieces wrapped and covered while they move between the house and the truck, and plan the day so nothing waits around longer than it needs to.
Very valuable or one-of-a-kind pieces
For very valuable art, very large glass, or pieces that need special handling, ask us about custom crating and about the valuation terms in your contract before you book. Some items are best handled by a fine-art specialist, and we'll tell you honestly if yours is one of them. For the rest of the home, our white glove moving gives every piece the same careful handling.
