Moving in Orange County
Apartment communities
Gate codes, elevator reservations, and loading zones are common in Orlando complexes. Send us your community's rules and we plan around them.
New construction
Lake Nona, Horizon West, and Winter Garden have many new homes. We protect fresh floors and walls with runners and door jamb covers.
Historic homes
Winter Park and College Park homes often have narrow doors and stairs. We measure first and remove legs or doors when needed.

Getting around Orange County: towns, roads and local notes
Our office is on Rose Blvd in south Orlando, so Orange County is home ground. The county runs from Apopka and the Wekiva area in the north to Lake Nona and the Osceola line in the south, and from Winter Garden and Oakland in the west to the UCF area and Bithlo in the east. Most moves here use I-4, SR 408, SR 417, SR 429 or Florida's Turnpike, and several of those are toll roads.
Each part of the county moves differently. Downtown Orlando towers usually want an elevator reservation and a certificate of insurance. Older neighborhoods such as College Park, Thornton Park and parts of Winter Park have brick or narrow streets under big oaks, so we check where the truck can stop. Newer areas in Winter Garden, Horizon West and Lake Nona tend to have HOA move hours. Apartment moves near UCF and International Drive often cluster around lease-end dates, so book those early.
City guides: Apopka, Ocoee, Windermere, Dr. Phillips, Maitland.
