A careful moving company for Windermere homes
The Town of Windermere is a small, historic town in southwest Orange County on the Butler Chain of Lakes, a string of connected lakes that includes Lake Butler and Lake Down. The town center around Main Street keeps a village feel, with some unpaved, tree-canopied roads, and the area around it is full of lakefront homes and gated communities such as Keene's Pointe and Isleworth.
Many Windermere-area homes are large, with fine furniture, art, and long walks from the street to the door. As a moving company serving Windermere, FL, we plan the truck spot, the carry, and the protection for floors and finishes before move day, and we can add white glove moving or antique and fine art moving for pieces that need extra care.
Drive time from our Orlando office: About 9 miles, roughly 20 minutes without traffic. Allow more time at rush hour on SR 535, Conroy-Windermere Road, and SR 429. Your quote includes the real drive time for your addresses.

Local know-how
Lakefront homes, gates and unpaved roads
Here is what we plan for on a Windermere move.
Gated communities
Guard-gated neighborhoods need our crew on the gate list the day before, and some set move hours or truck-size rules.
Lakefront and estate homes
Long driveways, sloped yards and large rooms mean more carrying. We plan crew size and protect floors, stairs and door frames.
Town streets
Some roads in the town center are narrow, unpaved or under low tree canopy. We check where the truck can safely park ahead of time.
Fine furniture, art and heavy items
Pieces like marble tables, large mirrors, framed art, and heirloom furniture are blanket-wrapped in thick pads with stretch wrap over the pads, and corners and glass get extra padding. For very large or valuable items, ask us about custom crating. Heavy items like a gun safe or an upright piano (ask our Windermere piano movers) are planned separately: call with the details and we'll tell you the crew and equipment they need.
Windermere to Dr. Phillips, Winter Garden, Ocoee and Orlando
Dr. Phillips is just east, Winter Garden and Horizon West are north and west, and Ocoee is north via Maguire Road. As local movers in Windermere, we often route through SR 429 or Conroy-Windermere Road, and we time the drive around school traffic on the area's two-lane roads. - Heavy items, like a safe or upright piano
- Where the truck can park
