How our crews protect an upright piano
Upright pianos are heavy and top-heavy, so the move is planned before anyone lifts. We measure doorways, halls, and turns, count the steps at both homes, and pick the truck spot with the shortest, flattest path. The piano is wrapped in thick pads, strapped to a heavy-duty dolly, and kept upright the whole way. Extra hands join the crew for stairs when needed.

Do you move grand pianos?
No. We move upright pianos only. We do not move baby grand or grand pianos.
Can you move a piano up stairs?
Often, yes. Tell us how many steps there are and send a photo of the stairway so we can plan the crew and equipment.
Will my piano need tuning after the move?
Many pianos need a tuning after any move because of changes in temperature and humidity. We recommend waiting a couple of weeks and then calling your tuner.
What kinds of upright pianos do you move?
