What pianos we move
Upright pianos (yes). We move all four kinds:
- Spinet: the shortest upright, about waist high.
- Console: a little taller, common in living rooms.
- Studio: the school and church size.
- Full upright: the tallest and heaviest upright.
Digital pianos and keyboards (yes). They are lighter, but we still pad them and protect the screen and keys. Tell us if there's a stand or bench.
Grand and baby grand pianos (no). We don't move grand or baby grand pianos. They need different tools and a specialist crew. We're happy to move the rest of your home and leave the grand to a piano specialist.

How we protect your piano
An upright is heavy and top-heavy. Most damage happens when no one planned the route. So we plan first.
- Measure first. Doorways, halls, turns and steps at both homes.
- Wrap it. Thick moving pads and stretch wrap cover the whole case. The keyboard lid stays closed.
- Strap it. The piano is strapped to a heavy-duty dolly.
- Keep it upright. It stays standing the whole trip and is strapped upright in the truck.
- Protect your home. We pad door frames and watch your floors on the way out.
- Place it. We set it where you want it in the new room, away from vents if you like.
Stairs, tight spaces and condos
Stairs. Tell us how many steps there are at each home, and send a photo of the stairway. We add hands to the crew when the stairs need it.
Tight spaces. Narrow halls, sharp turns and old door frames are normal in Orlando's older homes. We measure before move day so there are no surprises.
Condos and apartments. Many buildings ask for an elevator booking and a certificate of insurance. Send us the building rules. We send the certificate before move day and work inside the building's move hours. See apartment and condo moving.
Floors. New wood, tile or soft floors? Tell us. It changes how we roll the piano.
How a piano move works
- Call or ask for a quote. Call 407-440-1423 or use the free quote form. Tell us the piano type, the floor it's on, and the step count at both homes. Photos help.
- Get a written estimate. We list anything that adds time or crew, in writing, before you book.
- Pick your date. We're open 24/7, so call any time to set the day and arrival window.
- Move day. The crew measures, pads, straps and moves the piano, then places it where you want it.
- Tune it later. Heat and humidity changes affect pianos. Wait a couple of weeks, then call your tuner.
Piano with a full home move? Tell us when you book. We plan the crew and gear so the piano goes with everything else.
What it costs
Piano only: call 407-440-1423 for a piano quote. The price depends on the piano, the stairs and the distance.
Piano with your home move: it's part of your normal move. 2 movers are $165 an hour, with a 3-hour minimum ($495 minimum labor). There's a one-time truck & travel fee of $150 to $240, based on truck size and distance. Larger crews are by custom quote.

Do you move grand or baby grand pianos?
No. We move upright pianos only: spinet, console, studio and full uprights. We also move digital pianos. For a grand or baby grand, please call a piano specialist. We can still move the rest of your home.

Will my piano need tuning after the move?
Most pianos do, because heat and humidity change. Wait a couple of weeks after the move, then call your tuner. We don't tune pianos.
Can you move my piano to another Florida city?
Yes. We move upright pianos anywhere in Florida with our own truck and crew.
Do you store pianos?
No. We don't have a storage facility. If your new home isn't ready, we can move the piano into a storage unit you rent.
