A gun safe packs a lot of weight into a small footprint, which makes it hard to move. Handled the wrong way, it can scratch floors, crack tile, dent door frames, or tip. So our crews plan the route before anyone lifts. We look at the doorways, turns, steps, and floors between the safe and the truck, and we pick the truck spot with the shortest, flattest path.
The safe is wrapped in thick moving pads, strapped to a heavy-duty dolly, and moved slowly, with extra hands on stairs and ramps. In the truck it is secured upright so it can't shift. At the new home we set it where you want it: a closet, a bedroom, or the garage. We move gun safes on their own or as part of a full home move, across Central Florida and within Florida only.

Empty the safe first: no firearms or ammunition
We do not move firearms or ammunition. Before moving day, the safe must be unloaded and emptied of every firearm and all ammunition, and you transport those yourself. We also ask you to take out cash, jewelry, documents, and other valuables. An empty safe is lighter and safer to tip onto a dolly, and nothing inside can shift and damage the door or the lock.
